Powered platform. PP-2V/G

Powered platform PPK-2V is designed to transport turnout units up to 12.5 m long and up to 5.5 m wide.

Powered platform PPK-2G is designed to transport turnout units:

• one turnout unit, with a length of up to 14 m and a width of up to 4.5 m, in outline of 1-T dimension according to GOST 9238;

• one turnout unit up to 14 m long and 5.4 m wide in outline of the third degree of oversize.

The platform is an autonomous part of a special train that provides transportation of both a new turnout switch from a production base to a place of its laying, and used turnout switch from the place of its dismantling to a production base. The platform, together with other platforms that form a train for transportation of turnouts, allows to transport turnout units along the train.
