Transport gasoline hydraulic locomotive MTG-2 is used for current maintenance, repair and construction of railways. MTG-2 is a self-propelled gasoline locomotive with a monitoring and control system. It has an equipped cabin for transporting large crews with a capacity of up to 22 people, an increased cargo platform, obtained due to lower, transverse position of power motor. Hydraulic system is simplified compared to hydrodynamic transmission, its efficiency is increased, cost of hydraulic units and their repair is significantly reduced.
