ELB-4C electric ballasting machine is designed for use in lifting, medium and major repairs of a track with rails and sleepers of all types to perform the following operations: when dosing ballast along the track length and width of ballast prism; lifting track or continuously hanging track skeleton on the go; shifting skeleton in plan view; when eliminating irregularities in the plan; dynamic stabilization of track; loosening of ballast under track skeleton; cutting and planning roadsides of the subgrade; rough forming of ballast prism slopes; slopes consolidation; realigning.
